This membership is suitable for all artistic levels. You can work at your own pace and there will be mini lessons that won’t need to be completed in any specific order, so you can skip a week and pick up where you left off, and go back to the missed lesson when it’s convenient.
I love how you create a learning environment that is so personal, interactive and spontaneous. Through “Art in Bloom” I have learned techniques and your unique painting process, that has me loving my under paintings even before the real brushstrokes are applied. Meet Kim, artist, educator and joy spreader!
I’ve been an artist for as long as I can remember. The sound of the art cart coming down the hallway in elementary school has always been a fond memory for me.
A native of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, I earned my BFA in Communication Design from Kutztown University and have owned TCG Design in East Petersburg for more than 30 years. Even though I am in a creative business, something was always missing.
After the last of my three children became more independent, I was drawn to pursue my love of painting. Now I paint every day, rising before the sun. Committing to this daily practice fits perfectly into my busy life. Over the years, I have developed a consistent style in my painting, and a never-ending joy of creating art.
I have been hosting painting workshops for several years and found I really enjoy teaching and the art community of new friends I’ve found along the way. Creating Inspiring Art Collective is the perfect substitute for in-person workshops, because we work together to grow and learn but it’s virtual. :)

WHO CAN JOIN THE INSPIRING ART COLLECTIVE? Artists and creatives of all skill levels are welcome!
IS THERE A SCHEDULE FOR THE MONTHLY CONTENT? Yes there is! A session will release at least twice per month which can be easily fit around your schedule offering education to help you see progress in your creative practice.
HOW IS THE COLLECTIVE DIFFERENT FROM THE ART IN BLOOM COURSE?
Art in Bloom is a six-week floral oil painting course that will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to paint flowers in oil with confidence.
Art in Bloom Collective is the perfect place to make gentle, steady, consistent progress. I will be showing up and walking alongside you in that process, offering insight to help you gain skills and confidence in your creative practice.
DO I NEED TO TAKE THE “ART IN BLOOM” COURSE FIRST? Nope!
Inspiring Art Collective is the perfect pairing to Art in Bloom, but the course is not a prerequisite.
Inspiring Art Collective is the perfect place to make steady, gentle progress on your goals within a supportive environment and with access to a network of other creatives moving in the same direction and who totally get you.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO STAY IN THE INSPIRING ART COLLECTIVE? As long as you would like! 1 month, 12 months, 100 months—You can cancel at any time.
WILL I BE ABLE TO JOIN A COMMUNITY OF CREATIVES? Yes! This will be a wonderful safe supportive space to learn and grow together.
WILL I SEE THE FACEBOOK LIVE EVENTS IF I’M NOT ON FACEBOOK? Yes, the Facebook sessions will be recorded and added to the home page of the group. You will be able to watch the video the following day.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I SIGN UP?
You will receive an email with two supply lists, one for oils and one for acrylics/mixed media. But, you can totally use whatever supplies you have on hand and add to your treasure chest of art supplies as you are inspired. If you do plan to order the suggested supplies, I suggest checking to see what you need and placing your order as soon as possible to ensure timely delivery. If you don’t get your supplies in time, no worries since you can work on the lessons at your own pace.
Once the order has processed you will receive an email receipt. In your receipt, you will see a link to the educational platform where the course will be housed, as well as a password. Please keep this in a safe place as you will need this each time you access the course.
